Established in 2020, the City in Colour Cooperative is a team of interdisciplinary community organizers, architects, data analysts, multimedia artists and designers comprised of women from diverse identities and backgrounds. We work to engage communities that are otherwise not engaged. Our founding members include five racialized immigrant women, all of whom hold Master’s degrees in Urban Studies or are in the completion.

Learning from our own lived experiences, our cooperative feels inspired in our mission to engage communities who are often excluded. To do this work, we provide services such as community engagement, urban design, research, policy analysis and writing with a focus on creating joyful, equitable and accessible cities.
